Welcome to Farnham Dene Medical practice
The doctors and staff at Farnham Dene Medical practice are proud to offer the highest standard of patient-centred healthcare.
We run many clinics for the management of chronic diseases such as asthma and diabetes and offer a wide variety of other medical services including antenatal and postnatal care, minor surgery, family planning and childhood vaccinations.
We are also an accredited Training Practice for Medical Students, Foundation Year and Specialist Trainee doctors intending to become General Practitioners - please see Clinics & Services, GP Training section for more information.
We are located over 2 sites – the Farnham Centre for Health in central Farnham as well as Lodge Hill Road, Lower Bourne. Both are recently built premises and the Farnham Centre for Health also provides radiography, physiotherapy, a renal dialysis unit and a pharmacy.
Named Accountable GP
All patients in the practice have a names accountable GP who is responsible for their overall care. We call this your usual doctor, but does not prevent you from seeing other GP's if you wish. If you do not know who your accountable GP is, you can contact the practice for this information. If you have a preference for your usual GP the practice will make every effort to accommodate this.
Routine GP appointments are now available on weekday evenings and Saturday mornings at Farnham Integrated Care Centre. This service is run by Farnham Integrated Care Services which consists of the five Farnham GP practices, so you may be seen by a GP from any of these practices. In addition there are some practice nurse and health care assistant appointments available on weekday evenings and Saturday mornings.
The appointments are all booked through our reception team. However the appointment will take place at Farnham Integrated Care Centre based in Farnham Centre for Health.
On Sunday mornings there is a bookable routine GP surgery at Frimley hospital in Outpatients 1. This service is shared across the Clinical Commissioning Group area and hence will be staffed by GP's from across the locality.
